Nearby highways Route 30 and I-57 make driving around Chicagoland a snap for commuters. Two Metra lines run service to and from the village, with frequent trains to downtown Chicago. The Olympia Fields Park District maintains 142 acres of open space, which is split into 11 parks with baseball fields, soccer fields, playgrounds, tennis courts, trails, sledding hills, and Disc Golf courses. The centerpiece of the Park Disctrict is the award-winning Sgt. Means Park. This 20-acre park was designed in shape of Illinois. It’s home to the Park District’s Administration Center, Cull House, and a working windmill that can be spotted along the main pedestrian path. Fun for the whole family can be found at White Water Canyon Water Park, as well.
