Presently, 36 acres in southern Highland Park have been transformed into Ravinia Festival, which showcases music and dance performances every summer beginning in May and concluding the first week of September. Residents also enjoy Park Avenue Beach and relaxing in one of the three of the city’s Country Clubs. Highland Park also features 40 parks and dozens of recreational centers.
