What is your background? Have you always been a real estate agent? If no, please explain.

No, I have a background in finance and accounting which I feel helps me to crunch the numbers for my clients.

How many years have you been a real estate agent and why do you enjoy being one?

I've been an agent for 6 years and enjoy meeting and working with new and repeat clients to help them with all their real estate needs. Whether it be buying, selling or renting I have all around experience and love that all of them are unique.

What is a meaningful real estate experience you've had with a buyer or seller? 

My most meaningful experience would have to be helping my seller client sell their home that was only studs on the inside due to a house fire. Their contractor had disappeared after receiving the money to finish the house and they didn't think they would be able to sell it in that condition. They were ecstatic that we got it sold and they even walked away with some money to buy a new house which I helped them purchase.

What's one piece of advice that you can share with other real estate agents?

Treat your clients they way you would want to be treated. Being open and honest has not only built my business, but has gained me lasting friendships. 

What do you think is the key to a successful real estate business?

Definitely communication. When you are able to communicate honestly and openly with the client on what their expectations are and what you can deliver then they will be satisfied. Always staying in touch throughout the process is key and lets the client know they are important.

What is something you like about Baird & Warner and/your Baird & Warner office?

My managing brokers always push me to do more so that I can succeed and they are always there when I have questions. I love that Baird & Warner offers all types of training and keeps up with latest news and updates.

What is one of your favorite local restaurants and why?

I love Craft'd in Plainfield because the atmosphere is friendly and inviting and the outdoor patio in the summer is perfect. Their menu and drinks are delicious as well.

What do you enjoy doing in your free time? 

I love spending time with my family, pets and my granddaughter.

What do you enjoy about living in your town?

I am a born, raised and current resident of Romeoville. I love that Romeoville is growing but still a family oriented community.
