With a background in the medical field as a certified medical assistant, Tammy transitioned into real estate seeking a career that allows her to continue making a positive impact on people's lives.

In her 3.5 years as a real estate agent, Tammy has helped countless families navigate the real estate market. What is your background? Have you always been a real estate agent? If no, please explain.

I've worked in the medical field as a certified medical assistant and wanted to find another profession that enables me to help people. 

How many years have you been a real estate agent and why do you enjoy being one?

I've been an agent for about 3.5 years and there is not a day I regret my decision because I've met some amazing families and built some wonderful friendships.

What is a meaningful real estate experience you've had with a buyer or seller? 

I believe every transaction has been meaningful because you're a huge part of helping others, whether it is buying their first home, first rental or just wanting a change and selling.

What's one piece of advice that you can share with other real estate agents?

To me, the most important part of being an agent is being an amazing listener as well as being knowledgeable.

What do you think is the key to a successful real estate business?

The key to a successful business is being a good listener, knowledgeable and patient.

What is one of your favorite local restaurants and why?

My favorite local restaurant is Sovereign because it's farm-to-table. I can eat out and not feel guilty, plus it's delicious! 

What do you enjoy doing in your free time? 

During my free time, I enjoy spending time with family and friends as well as taking walks through the forest preserves, reading and exercising.

What do you enjoy about living in your town?

I enjoy all the festivals and restaurants downtown Plainfield has to offer.
