Agent Spotlight: Laura Wenger

Meet Laura Wenger, one of Baird & Warner Northwest Suburban's star agents. With eight years of experience in real estate, Laura has found that she excels in the listing side of the transaction and enjoys showcasing every home's best features through staging. 

According to Laura, the key to a successful real estate business is unwavering follow-up and constant availability to educate buyers throughout the process. Her advice to fellow agents is simple but impactful: always prioritize the client's best interests and you'll maintain an excellent and trustworthy reputation. She also appreciates the training and professionalism afforded by being a Baird & Warner agent.

Beyond her work, Laura is a dedicated foodie and loves supporting local businesses in Palatine, where she resides. In her free time, she dotes on her dogs, whom she affectionately refers to as her "golden girls."

What is your background? Have you always been a real estate agent? If no, please explain.

My background is in healthcare and management. I have an active RN license and background running a cardiac and medical ICU.  Love helping people —now I help them with the largest purchase they'll make.

How many years have you been a real estate agent and why do you enjoy being one?

I've been in real estate full-time for 8 years. I think I thrive on the listing side. I love staging a home to put a spotlight on the best features. 

What's one piece of advice that you can share with other real estate agents?

If you always put the client's best interests first, good things come back around — karma is real!

What do you think is the key to a successful real estate business?

It's important to follow up! You should always be available and help educate your buyers through every step of the process.

What is something you like about Baird & Warner and/your Baird & Warner office?

I like the training and the professionalism. 

What is one of your favorite local restaurants and why?

So many — I'm a big foodie. Always think local and support our Palatine businesses. 

What do you enjoy doing in your free time? 

My dogs take over most of my life, but I love my golden girls.
