Her journey into real estate began in 2007, but prior to that, she worked in several other roles including managing a public records research company and working as a computer consultant with Accenture.
With an impressive tenure of 15 years in the industry, Julia's enthusiasm for her work is evident. "I enjoy the variety and working with so many different people," she says. Julia also enjoys being able to learn from and collaborate with the other agents at her Baird & Warner office.

What is your background? Have you always been a real estate agent? If no, please explain.
I started my real estate career in 2007. Prior to that, I managed a public records research company and also worked as a computer consultant with Accenture.
How many years have you been a real estate agent and why do you enjoy being one?
I've been selling real estate for 15 years. I enjoy the variety and working with so many different people.
What is a meaningful real estate experience you've had with a buyer or seller?
I recently worked with a seller to market their mother's condominium after their mother passed away. The seller told me how much she appreciated the closure that I brought to her helping her clean out her mother's belongings and stage the home for sale.
What's one piece of advice that you can share with other real estate agents?
Treat your clients as you would want to be treated and you will always have business.
What do you think is the key to a successful real estate business?
It doesn't matter if your client is buying, selling or investing — the key is being genuine and truly wanting to help people with their real estate needs.
What is something you like about Baird & Warner and/your Baird & Warner office?
I love all the support I get from staff, management and our corporate office in being the best agent I can for my clients.
What is one of your favorite local restaurants and why?
My husband and I love to dine on Javier's outdoor patio and enjoy a big margarita with the best Mexican food around!
What do you enjoy doing in your free time?
I garden extensively and like to play piano and trumpet. I belong to a fiction writing group.
What do you enjoy about living in your town?
Arlington Heights has a wonderful downtown area with great shopping, restaurants, library and Metra station. I can't wait to have the Bears move their stadium to our town.
