Are you a service member or veteran thinking about starting your own business? A rewarding career in real estate could be your next move. You can use your GI Bill towards the cost of your real estate license. Apply your benefits to our Accelerated prelicensing program* which teaches you the concepts needed to be a successful agent.
We are the first and only prelicensing school in Illinois to offer this benefit. Baird & Warner has always looked out for service members, veterans and first responders. Along with our Military on the Move program, which helps service members buy or sell a home, this is just another way we support and honor those who have served our country.
*The Accelerated two-week course (in-person) is the only option approved for a GI Benefits from the Dept of Veteran Affairs.
Important note:
The GI Bill® benefits will only apply to LIVE Prelicensing classes (excludes on-line, webinar or home study courses). You will first need to contact the Department of Veteran Affairs at 888-442-4551 to see if you qualify. When you have qualified, you can start by filling out the Request for Veterans Benefits form which sends an email to education@ illinoisrealtors.org.
Once you have completed the course(s), we will apply with the VA for reimbursement. Please note it is up to the Department of Veterans Affairs whether or not the Veteran qualifies for the GI Bill® benefit.
