Agent Spotlight: Indu Sethi

For 24 years, Indu Sethi has been connecting clients with their dream homes in the Chicagoland area. After previously working with two other firms, she finally found her own dream home at Baird & Warner, and has since been utilizing everything our company has to offer to make the easiest possible experience for her clients. She even speaks Hindi, Urdu and English to provide service to as big of a range of clients as she can.

From providing her clients with local contractors they can rely on to making sure they get the best price for their home, Indu walks her clients through every step of the way. What's one piece of advice that you can share with other real estate agents?

Be honest with your clients and others to help them find the right house to get the most for their investment. Listen to what they want, be courteous and enjoy what you do. 

What is something you like about Baird & Warner and/your Baird & Warner office?

The staff is wonderful! Carol, Elizabeth and Gina help us every step of the way. They provide such a comfortable atmosphere. I've worked in other companies, but continuously find Baird & Warner to be the best. 

What do you think is the key to a successful real estate business?

In the world of real estate, clients are everything. Your ability to build strong relationships with your clients sets you apart from the rest. Connecting with people on a personal level, understanding their needs and goals and making them feel heard and valued are the qualities that make a truly successful real estate professional. So don't underestimate the power of being a people person.

What is one of your favorite local restaurants and why?

Coopers Hawk is a beloved local restaurant I always attend with my family! Their delicious food will satisfy your cravings and leave you feeling happy. Plus, if your family is a member like us, you'll love the exclusive perks that come with it. Their menu has a wide variety of high-quality dishes. There's no shortage of delicious options to choose from. And don't even get me started on the delectable desserts!

What do you enjoy doing in your free time?

I just love throwing parties! It's such a blast because it allows me to gather all my favorite people and treat them to some of my scrumptious food. Creating an atmosphere of celebration and bonding with your loved ones is really special. Hosting a party can also be a significantly positive way to strengthen your relationships with your closest clients, friends and family.

What do you enjoy about living in your town?

I simply love where I live. It's home to me. There's something about this place that feels right. The community is excellent and friendly, and there's always something happening. I can't imagine living anywhere else.
