As a seller, the home inspection can be one of the more stressful periods of the escrow process. After all, if the home inspector finds major damage in the home, the sale agreement can fall through, with the buyer entitled to the return of any earnest money and the seller back to square one — but this time, with costly fixes to be made before the home can be placed back on the market.
