Eric Tamerlani’s path to real estate is built on a lifelong connection to Chicago and a genuine passion for helping people step into the next chapter of their lives. Having lived in the city for 12 years—first during his undergraduate studies at DePaul University and later returning to set down long-term roots—Eric brings a deep appreciation for Chicago’s vibrant neighborhoods, iconic architecture, and strong sense of community.
Before earning his broker’s license, Eric built a diverse professional background spanning political communications, brand strategy, and small business entrepreneurship. Holding both a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science and an MBA with a focus in entrepreneurship from DePaul’s Kellstadt Graduate School of Business, he honed a sharp eye for detail, a strong design aesthetic, and a talent for strategic storytelling. Whether crafting compelling marketing strategies for listings or navigating complex negotiations, Eric leverages his background to provide clear, effective guidance tailored to each client's unique goals.
Eric’s transition into real estate was sparked by his own experiences as a buyer and seller. After navigating the purchase and sale of a Lincoln Square condo and buying a single-family home in Budlong Woods—which he and his wife have enjoyed renovating together—he experienced firsthand how pivotal a cool, calm, and supportive broker can be. That personal milestone inspired him to pay it forward, offering first-time buyers the same confidence, clarity, and reassurance during one of the most important financial moves of their lives.
Focusing on the North Side of Chicago and the near north suburbs, Eric combines a down-to-earth, relatable approach with high professional standards. Clients appreciate his calm demeanor, attentiveness, and knack for making the process stress-free and enjoyable. Active in his local community, Eric has served on DePaul’s Alumni Committee board and volunteers at the Friendship Center food pantry. When he isn't helping clients, you can find him scratch-cooking, training Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, writing original music, or relaxing with his wife and their rescue pit bull, Gorgonzola. For Eric, real estate isn't just about closing deals—it’s about being a trusted, accessible expert in his clients' corner for life.
