Ravisloe Country Club
Designed by famed golf course architect Donald Ross, Ravisloe was established in 1901. The Spanish Mission-style clubhouse “evoked the splendor and elegance of the Gilded Age,” yet it shut down completely in late 2008. An acclaimed veterinary surgeon and sustainable living advocate, Dr. Claude Gendrau, then purchased the club to share this historic urban space with the greater public. RCC offers 18 devilishly difficult holes as well as its legendary bar and grill, Rossy’s Roost, where you can relax in comfort after some fierce play with hearty sandwiches, ice cold beverages, or a healthy salmon salad.
