Lucy Baird

Lucy Baird is the chief stewardship officer and vice chair of the board at Baird & Warner. In her role as chief stewardship officer, she oversees the company’s historical archives and leads the philanthropic arm, Good Will Works, which makes annual grants and develops nonprofit partnerships that invest in Chicagoland communities. She is the 6th generation of the Baird family to work for the company.

Baird also plays an active role as a director of the Stephen and Susan Baird Family Foundation helping direct funding across the foundation’s pillars with a focus on climate and environment. She has served on the Board of Anderson Ranch Arts Center, as head of the Talent and Compensation committee as well as serving as Vice Chair of the Board. She was a member of the Auxiliary Board of the Art Institute of Chicago, the Board of the Harvard Alumni Association. She is a current member of Chicago Climate Corps in Chicago, a cohort of under-40 climate leaders in Chicago. She maintains an active artistic studio practice, with both group and solo exhibitions in the US and abroad, and has been awarded numerous residencies both nationally and internationally.

Baird is a 2010 graduate of Harvard University, she received her MFA from Massachusetts College of Art in 2016.
