Bob Vanna


Bob has been a Realtor® since 2006 and has represented clients from Edgebrook and Lincoln Park to Oak Lawn.  In today's fast-paced real estate market, every buyer and seller has access to an extraordinary, and sometimes overwhelming, amount of information.  Bob's personal experience and analytical abilities have consistently helped his clients achieve their real estate goals.

Bob understands that your home has been your investment, not his.  He will work with you to position your home to obtain the best possible price your market will bear.  Before putting a home on the market, Bob will work with his sellers to optimize the digital presentation of their home in order to ensure it shows well on all electronic media avenues, to develop a strategic marketing plan and to analytically assess market value. Bob will also prepare customized marketing materials including brochures, floor plans and photography. Once listed, Bob will continue to communicate with his sellers about the execution of the marketing plan by providing a comprehensive data analysis of market changes and internet activity.  Bob will also electronically inform his sellers of potential buyer feedback after each showing.

When working with buyers, Bob has the patience, analytical and negotiating skills that are required to ensure a successful and sound real estate purchase.  He will work with his buyers to identify what their goals are in purchasing a new home or investment property.  Bob knows that when purchasing a piece of real estate it is best to negotiate from a position of financial strength.  Bob will work with his buyers to ensure they are financially qualified and understand each facet of their potential purchase.

Prior to entering real estate, Bob graduated from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign where he received a Bachelor's in Speech Communication.  He has also earned a Master's in Public Administration from the Illinois Institute of Technology. Bob has also attended the prestigious Program on Negotiation at Harvard Law School.  He has also obtained the Certified Negotiation Expert (CNE) designation from The Real Estate Institute.

Bob also believes that Realtors® should be actively involved in the communities they serve.  Bob has served on the Edgebrook Elementary Local School Council as a Parent Representative, the Edgebrook School Foundation and Edgebrook School Friends.

Bob believes that is important to pay it forward.  He regularly gives to charities such as St. Jude Children's Research Hospital and the Chicago Police Memorial Foundation

He currently lives in Edgebrook with his wife and two daughters where they fully enjoy Edgebrook's suburban living with a city address.
