Having grown up in Karachi Pakistan, I moved to Chicago at 21 years of age to pursue the American Dream. I decided to embark on a career in real estate to help others achieve their dream of home ownership. As an immigrant, I saw how difficult it was to navigate the real estate market without help. As a Broker, it is my goal to make this an achievable goal for those around me. I am a go-getter, I do not give up until I accomplish my goals, I strive to make people around me both successful and happy!
I started my career in the banking industry where I spent 20+ years. I knew it was time to move on when I realized it was becoming more of a sales position than a service industry. I love working to make my customers happy but only when it is helpful to them. I felt like this was lost in Banking, but I knew it was a reality in the Real Estate Field. Ultimately, this was the reason I chose to work at Baird and Warner. Their reputation for servicing their clients was second to none. Working with Baird and Warner allows me the ability to work all over Chicagoland, as they have offices located throughout the area.
I have 3 beautiful children, 3 wonderful nephews/nieces under my care, and 5 grandchildren. My hobbies are sewing and traveling. Additionally, I assist my son-in-law with The Humanitarian Project in which we are deeply involved with an orphanage in Haiti called Madinah Orphanage and Academy, housing over 40 children. For me, becoming a Real Estate Agent is not just about the sales or commission, but is about helping people. Seeing people who have been able to purchase their first home after years of hard work is incredibly rewarding. There is truly nothing I enjoy more than seeing others succeed in homeownership!
