Raised in Naperville, Karen grew up in a town that went from cornfields to a place that is now nationally recognized for its prestigious school systems, safe community, and big-city style. Voted the best city to raise a family and second-best place to live, Karen (with a possible bias) wholeheartedly agrees. After marrying home builder Ken Wehrli, one of Naperville’s founding families, she has been exposed to every process of the home building experience for the 36 years that Ken has been in the business. With this exposure, she has gained an insider’s perspective of the ever-changing housing market. Karen has a 36-year career in the vast growing technology industry providing solutions to Fortune 500 companies, state and local governments, and higher education institutions. She worked her way up from roles of Customer Service and Project Management to senior Sales and Account Management positions and ultimately became the principal owner of a systems integration company. She attributes her successes in her ability to build strong customer relations, her proven integrity, and excellent follow-through.
