Brigitte Oberholzer grew up in Zurich, Switzerland and received her Master’s of Science in Zoology with a focus on neuroscience. In 2003, she and her family moved to the U.S. Brigitte has spent her life helping others in a multitude of ways.

Brigitte has a global understanding of real estate. With her husband and her two daughters, she has lived in several countries. Before making a home on the North Shore in 2003, Brigitte lived in Messery, France for six years and in Edmonton, Canada for one year. Her understanding of languages, lifestyles and cultures gives her a unique perspective on how to find each person’s perfect home.

While her girls attended Hubbard Woods School in Winnetka, Brigitte co-created the “Worldtraveler” program. Several times a year, she used her travel experience and love for foreign culture and cuisine to educate and open the children’s minds. She was also involved in the Washburne lunch committee and worked to improve the quality of the school’s lunch program.

Brigitte has integrated her passion for helping others in numerous ways: as a Licensed Massage Therapist and a Board Member of the Chicago Diabetes Project. Additionally, she regularly attends events at the International Club of Wilmette and is a member of the Chicago Columbia Club, a group that brings German-speaking people together.

When Brigitte is not busy helping her clients buy or sell real estate, she loves to spend time with her family, try new restaurants with her friends, ride her bike throughout the North Shore, walk her dog through the neighborhood and ride her horse through the Forest Preserve.

Brigitte’s clients describe her as honest, punctual, detail-oriented, organized, rational and dedicated. Because she has a unique understanding of people and culture, she is passionate about helping each client find their ideal community and home.
