Meet Maria: a Depaul University alumna with dual majors in Honors Accounting & Business Administration & a minor in International Business. Once on the career track of a CPA at Deloitte, now applying those skills to her clients helping them navigate today's complex housing market.
Her transition into real estate, a decade ago, was instigated by back surgery at the age of 23, an experience that she doesn't take for granted living every day to the fullest extent. Upon entering the field, she knew she found one of her jams. After two years, she obtained her Managing Broker's license and co-founded a brokerage, Idealty in Logan Square, which she managed for two years.
After a ground breaking year (2015), which concluded with a 4 day, 170 mile solo bike trip across Portugal, she realized that she could better meet her clients' needs if she took off all her hats and put one hard hat on instead, thus returning to Baird & Warner.
As an immigrant refugee with beginnings in a Polish community in Logan Square/Avondale, she is today a proud owner of a four-unit building in the very same neighborhood almost 30 years later. Ask her about building your own investment portfolio to build passive income.

Fun facts: Maria is one of six children. Maria is a toddler mama, loving every moment of the journey. Maria travels to and fro SoCal living in pursuit of sunshine. (She handles business remotely seamlessly.) Maria is also an improviser, poet, song writer, singer, and pianist. She enjoys engaging her clients in a game of chess. She loves to dance, especially alone.
