Calling all Chicagoland foodies! Chicago’s Restaurant Week is back. Running from January 20th to February 5th, this culinary celebration brings together more than 300 of the city’s top restaurants for two+ weeks of fine dining. Whether you’ve been a fan of this 16-year-long tradition since day one, or are just hearing about it now, it’s certainly not something you’re going to want to miss! After all, we weren’t ranked the best foodie city in the midwest for nothing.
Over the course of seventeen days, 300 local restaurants will be offering prix fixe menus at $25 for brunch/lunch and $42-59 for dinner. This doesn’t include beverages, tax and gratuity though, so budget a little extra.
We understand 300 restaurants are a lot to go through too, but Choose Chicago’s made a super handy list to tell you who’s participating, how much it costs, what type of cuisine exceptions they offer (looking at you, gluten-free diners) and if the restaurant is minority or women-owned. Check out the full list here. This is for diners whose eyes aren’t bigger than their stomach, so dream big!
Finally, you don’t technically need a reservation to participate, but it definitely doesn’t hurt. So if you’ve caught your eye on any restaurants you can’t miss out on, be sure to call ahead and save yourself a spot.
For 16 years, Restaurant Week has been a fun addition to the Chicagoland dining community. We can’t wait to see you out there this January!
