The Ravenswood Remix
Aug. 30 – 31 | Milwaukee Avenue between Fullerton Parkway and California Avenue
Chicago’s recycled art fair comes to Logan Square with buckets of trash transformed into polished pieces of art, showcasing the ingenuity and earth-consciousness of local Chicago artists. The weekend pays homage to the artistically savvy with workshops to learn more about recycling, music from local artists and food vendors.

North Coast Music Festival
Aug. 29 – 31 | Union Park
North Coast Music Festival is summer music’s last stand! The festival will host big name acts including Bassnectar, Kid Cudi and Snoop Dogg.

Schaumburg Septemberfest
Aug. 30 – Sept. 1 | Robert Atcher Municipal Center
This is the 44th year of Schaumburg’s Annual Septemberfest — and with a record like that, you know it’s a pretty good place to celebrate Labor Day. Activities include live music and an arts and crafts show. This year, Septemberfest will feature artists including Taylor Dane, Bad Company and the Beatles cover band Liverpool Legends. The arts and crafts show will showcase 250 exhibitors displaying and selling their items.

Naperville Last Fling
Aug. 29 – Sept. 1 | Naperville
Say good-bye to summer at the Naperville Last Fling. Musical acts like O.A.R., Smash Mouth and 7th Heaven will ring out the summertime with some of their chart-topping hits. Take a break from the music to check out the Last Fling carnival, Family Fun Fun Land area and Labor Day Parade.
