Goebbert’s Pumpkin Farm in South Barrington is one pumpkin patch that will keep your family busy all day long! Bengtson’s Pumpkin Farm is located in Homer Glen and open for the whole month of October. This pumpkin patch is perfect for all ages of your family; younger ones will enjoy the Fun Barn while older members will be attracted to the Haunted Barn. Of course, there are also hayrides, pony rides, a petting zoo, and the Giant Crazy Corn Maizey. Pig races and the Children’s Playland with a jailhouse and schoolhouse are other unique attractions of Bengtson’s. Admission costs $11.99 for children 11 and up (including adults) and $10.99 for children three to 10 years old. Yet, this includes some free kid rides on most days, and coupons can be found on their website.

Siegel’s Cottonwood Farms is found in Crest Hill and is a fifth-generation working farm. Kids of all ages will love Siegel’s petting zoo equipped with a baby chick farm, and the Ghost Town railroad including its very own kiddie train. The farm also offers a giant corn maze and hayrides. Open from September 24th to October 31st, Siegel’s Cottonwood Farms offers plenty of time for you and your family to visit! There is admission fees of $12 on weekdays and $14 on weekends, but coupons are available on their website.

Didier Farms Pumpkin Fest in Prairie View-Lincolnshire is another pumpkin patch with plenty of activities to enjoy all season long! Highlights include an educational barn, a pig bin, a bird exhibit, and a white tiger exhibit. Yet, classic favorites such as carnival rides, a five-acre corn maze, and a petting zoo are also available. Didier Farms Pumpkin Fest opens on September 21 and runs until October 31. Some exhibits and rides include additional costs, but certain days offer unlimited passes for purchase.
