The Taste of Chicago has ended, but the 30th Annual Taste of Lincoln Avenue kicks off this weekend! Also known as “Lincoln Fest,” the celebration will take place on Lincoln Avenue between Fullerton and Wrightwood.
Event goers can enjoy more than 100 merchant, food and drink booths, presenting the many flavors of the neighborhood. Headquarters Beercade will sponsor a craft beer section, as well as free arcade games directly from the bar.
Over 35 music acts will perform on several stages, bringing local and national bands to entertain audiences with pop, blues and rock. This will be the first year that Lincoln Fest will support the electronic dance music movement, dedicating one of the stages to local DJ performances.
The always-popular Kids’ Carnival can be found on Altgeld, between Lincoln and Halsted. Youngsters and their families can check out the petting zoo, pony rides, art activities, stage entertainment and inflatables.
Taste of Lincoln Avenue is open from noon to 10 p.m. on July 27 – 28. Click here for more information.
