I am a full time Broker working with both buyers and sellers. I specialize in residential homes in Naperville but also work all surrounding areas if a different location better suits your needs. I have lived in Naperville for 28 years and my three children have gone through Naperville district 203 schools from kindergarten through high school graduation. I pledge my very best to my clients and promise to keep their best interests first and foremost throughout the transaction.

In order to help my seller clients achieve the best possible result, I have developed  a unique pre-listing program that is the most comprehensive in our area.  This program is structured to give your home a competitive edge and increase your odds of selling quickly with multiple offers. My approach is collaborative, logical and highly data driven, and my listings consistently sell at a higher percentage of list price, and in a shorter amount of time than market averages. I believe in hard work and being fully prepared to help both my seller and my buyer clients achieve the best possible outcome!

I place a high priority on increasing and updating my knowledge and skills to serve the best interests of my clients. I am a Certified Luxury Home Marketing Specialist (CLHMS), Certified Residential Specialist (CRS), a Certified Negotiation Consultant (CNC), Short Sales and Foreclosure Resource (SFR) and a Graduate of Realtor Institute (GRI). I recently served my local real estate board as the Chairperson of the Professional Standards Grievance Committee which investigates all grievances and complaints filed against any Realtor in our area.

Other things about me: I am an active member of Community Christian Church, and strive to achieve excellence in my work by following the Golden Rule.  I'm a 3rd degree blackbelt in tae kwon do.  I enjoy good friends, a good laugh and spending time with my family.

"Selling your home is stressful but from the moment we met Laura Bruno we knew this would all go well--and it did! Laura has considerable knowledge about the housing market and it's trends. She worked diligently to help us price our home, get it ready to show and market it extensively. Laura is a great communicator and excellent at keeping us informed after every showing. She negotiated with integrity and skill and we truly felt like she was on our side. We were more than satisfied with every angle of our home sale--especially in this tough market. We would definitely use Laura Bruno again."

"Laura was very well prepared from the first viewing to the final decision. She offered a variety of homes as we narrowed the choices. She quickly focused on our preferences and found the perfect choice for our new home."

"Laura was reliable and reachable throughout the entire process. We are first time buyers and she made the process smooth and was patient with our many questions. Thanks for helping us find our home!"

"I'm not sure who posted negative feedback about Laura Bruno and the purchase on Lark Lane but that was not us. My wife and I worked with Laura to sell our home in Aurora and purchase this house and had a very positive experience. We sold our house in one weekend and everything was handled with extreme professionalism. The process was seemless. I would recommend Laura to anybody. She knows the Naperville market and she guided us to our home now in a neighborhood that we love that was not on our original search area."

"I used her to sell my home because she was recommended by a friend who sold a home in the area. I was not satisfied with her service because I had to do so much leg work for her because she was supposedly busy with other clients. She did not make any suggestions to counter inspection report so we had to do a bunch of repairs. I'm not sure if it was because we did not fit her typical listing area but I felt that she was arrogant. She made no suggestions for contractors on the repairs or items we had to procure to complete the sale. Her marketing fees were higher than other realtors and she did not do anything special with the marketing. Kept pushing using her title company and after signing the contract where she makes you contract to use them, I later learned that they were about 15% more than the competitors. An open house was out of the question. She attended the closing, I'm assuming, because she didn't trust us to collect her commission. I later learned from the buyers agent that she charges a steep office fee (approx $500) to co brokers which makes other brokers not want to show the home to their client. If you do not know what this is, like me, ask the agent the amount of their office fee. For the fees that she charged me, this was excessive. I thought I was getting a shark to sell my home, but the shark was actually a whale that was too big to serve my needs. Overall I cannot recommend her and many of my friends have asked who I used to sell my home."
