Baird & Warner Residential Sales, Inc. received the 2017 Corporate Responsibility award earlier this month from NEI, which partners with over 180 clients, including many Fortune 500 companies, to deliver dynamic, world-class, global relocation and assignment management solutions. The award recognizes NEI’s Service Partners who demonstrate corporate responsibility in their communities, including community involvement, environmental sustainability, and corporate governance.
“When we were setting up our service Partner awards program, we felt very strongly that we should include a category for corporate social responsibility,” said Kate Dodge, NEI President. “In addition to its inherent value, corporate outreach to the community provides internal leadership opportunities, and we want to recognize our partners who mirror NEI’s value and commitment to the communities where we live and work.”
Baird & Warner’s community outreach is done through its philanthropic arm, the Good Will Network. Since its founding in 2002, the Good Will Network has donated $2.2 million and thousands of volunteer hours to housing-related nonprofits in Chicagoland. “Baird & Warner has been a family of givers for 160 years,” said Jennifer Alter Warden, chief operating officer and executive vice president of Baird & Warner and the Good Will Network’s founder. “Our agents and employees do so much to support our communities, and it’s an honor to see that work recognized with this award.”
