How would you fight homelessness with $100,000? How many warm beds could you provide this winter? How many safe nights could you provide for women and children in danger? How many of your own neighbors could you help in their moment of need?
Now you get to find out. We’re calling it #ShareTheGood.
The Baird & Warner Good Will Network is donating $100,000 through ten $10,000 grants to shelter-related charities across Chicagoland. And we need your help. We need you to vote for the charities that get the grants at vote.bairdwarner.com by September 30th.
Our network of real estate brokers across the city and suburbs have nominated their favorite charities. Organizations they know and trust. Groups that make a real difference in the lives of our neighbors.
The array of services these nonprofits provide to our community is simply humbling. Some organizations offer 24-hour shelter and support to women and children under threat of domestic and sexual violence. Others dedicate their efforts to individuals and families who are homeless or at risk of becoming homeless. One offers hope for young people in crisis due to substance abuse. Another helps children with serious medical conditions transition from the hospital to their homes. And a couple of groups provide help and community to those with mental and physical disabilities.
The bottom line is that right now, just a few blocks or a few miles from where you live, there is someone who could use your help. And you can be there for them with just a few clicks. You can #ShareTheGood at vote.bairdwarner.com.
#ShareTheGood is just the latest effort in 14 years of Good Will Network philanthropy. Dedicated to issues of shelter, particularly for women and children, we have donated thousands of volunteer hours and more than $2 million dollars in grants to a wide array of local nonprofit organizations. For us, Chicagoland is more than just a market — it’s home. So we do what we can to care for our neighbors.
Learn more about each of the nominated charities at vote.bairdwarner.com. The top ten vote-getting nonprofits will each receive a $10,000 grant. Voting ends Monday, September 30th.
Thank you for doing good and helping make a real difference.
