Fannie Mae has debuted its HomePath Ready Buyer program, providing first-time homebuyers up to a three percent rebate of a home’s purchase price if they buy a Fannie Mae property and complete a $75 online homebuyer education course. Once the buyer receives the rebate, they will also get a refund for the course.
“HomePath Ready Buyer has the potential to give first-time buyers $4,500 in savings on a $150,000 home,” said Steve DiMarco. “This, along with a variety of IHDA programs, can really help you get a potential buyer off the fence. And when it comes to these deal-changing opportunities, our loan officers are the absolute best in helping your clients obtain the necessary financing to accomplish their real estate goals.”
