I have been a local, Lake County real estate consultant.since 1992 .It has been a great pleasure to help clients selling and buying homes. There is nothing more enjoyable than the excitement when people find that perfect home, or have that contract on their home, so they can move on to their new lives.
I have been selling homes through many different markets, some are easy, and other more challenging, as today's current market. You can never have enough education, so it's essential for me as a professional to keep up to date. last year I n focused my continuing real estate education on Short Sale transactions. A regrettable but certainly a new aspect to our local real estate market. Although this can be a long process, it serves a purpose for some sellers and can result in good market value for buyers who have the time to wait.

I am certified as a CREN- certified real estate negotiator, so I can better serve both my seller and buyer clients. We have to look at pricing different than we've done in the past. Yes, we still note recent sales prices, but due to the larger number of choices for buyers, it's essential to take a very close look at competing homes. It's very important to be the best at your price point.
Home purchases and sales are often the most expensive things we buy and sell, and there are also emotions tied to homes. I want to be there for my clients so the transition is the best experience possible.
It's a very exciting time to be in the real estate field. Marketing has changed a thousand fold over the past five years. Web advertising is the primary focus, and I've stayed with Baird & Warner because of the company's focus on professional web advertising and a fantastic web site.
