For over 10 years Carol has held the prestigious “Certified Residential Specialist” (CRS) designation in recognition of her extensive training and expertise in transactional agency, ethics standards and customer advocacy. In addition, Carol holds the “Graduate of Realtors Institute” (GRI) designation as the result of years of class work in advanced real estate education.   This background brings her customers a broad range of creative marketing tools, advanced negotiating skills and contract management.

Technology
Carol’s command of current technologies enhances the marketing of her listings. In 2001 Carol was one of the first to receive the National Association of Realtors “e-Pro” certification—denoting her knowledge and practical use of current technology resources. 

An avid photographer, Carol applies this skill by effectively maximizing the internet experience for the 85% of buyers who are using the internet to buy a home. Her exceptional attention to detail combined with her knowledge of the internet reaches the most qualified buyers for a given property.

Marketing
In 2007 Carol and her team were presented, through the National Association of Home Builders 50-plus Housing Council, the Gold Innovative Marketing Award. Marketing, advertising and preparing a house for market are the cornerstones of Carol’s beliefs in obtaining the best price in the least amount of time.

Relocation
As a Corporate Relocation Specialist over the past 25 years, Carol has considerable experience with introducing new families to their new community.  She identifies the right options and helps ease the emotional and physical transitions—paying close attention to the needs of every family member.  

Personal
Carol is a current Trustee of Kenilworth Union Church where she chairs the Building and Grounds Committee and is actively involved with The North Shore Country Day School Benefit Board.

A third generation North Shore resident, Carol has a wealth of working knowledge of the surrounding areas. She and her husband, Shawn, moved to Winnetka in 1983 to raise their two children. One daughter is a third generation New Trier High School graduate.
