My focus is on residential real estate and investment properties.  I take a no-nonsense approach to the transaction, recognizing that for many clients this could be the largest purchase / sale that they have ever made.  Many of my clients have done this many times.  For others this may be their first time.  Regardless of the situation I work to solve any problems before they can cause irreparable damage.  I focus on pricing property correctly and negotiating the very best deal for my clients.

I received my license to sell real estate in 1995 and earned my broker’s license in 2003.  Also, in 2003, I earned the prestigious designation, Seniors Real Estate Specialist (SRES). This designation is held by less than 1% of all Realtors nationwide and conveys that I have special skills in dealing with seniors’ issues.  Seniors are the fastest growing segment of our population and their homes are often their largest single asset. 

Prior to a career in real estate I was a trader of options, futures, and stocks and held memberships at the Chicago Board Options Exchange, Chicago Mercantile Exchange, and Chicago Stock Exchange.  I look at my years as a trader as a great learning experience that gave me a insight as to what affects all of us when we get emotionally evolved in negotiations.  These experiences definitely give me an advantage at the negotiating table.

I am also a real estate investor.  I have been buying and selling real estate for many years and believe that a well managed financial portfolio should include investments in real estate.
