Vicki Klavins
Vice President, Controller
Vicki is the Controller, overseeing and managing all accounting and finance functions at Baird & Warner.
Vicki started her career with Baird & Warner as a senior accountant ten years ago, moving up to assistant controller within a year. In 2003, she was promoted to controller. Before joining Baird & Warner, Vicki held various auditor and CPA roles for organizations such as the Wyoming State Auditor, the U.S. Department of Interior, Minerals Management Service and the Colorado Department of Revenue. She is a mentor to her staff on the importance of good work ethic and customer service. Her business philosophy is borrowed from Bill Cosby: "I don't know the key to success, but the key to failure is trying to please everybody."
Vicki graduated from the University of Wyoming with a bachelor's degree in Accounting. She is a Certified Public Accountant.
